On Tuesday 26 April, from 12.30 – 14.00Sarah Perkins and Robert Brown (Specialist Renal Pharmacists, North Bristol Trust) will explore the process of prescribing in relation to renal impairment; specifically, they will touch on:

  • Post-AKI follow-up
  • Renal anaemia
  • Renal bone-mineral disease
  • Phosphate binders and potassium binders

    Funded by Health Education England, the Hub's role is to unite and support all members of primary, community, social, and voluntary care within Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.
    Organizer of Meds-Op: Prescribing in Renal Impairment
    The Integrated Care Board is the new organisation responsible for the day-to-day running of the NHS. The NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB takes account of population needs, arranges for the provision of services and manages the NHS budget. Nationally, ICBs were legally established on 1 July 2022, and Clinical Commissioning Groups were abolished.
