What is BNSSG Training Hub?

What is BNSSG Training Hub?

The Basics

With funding from Health Education England (HEE), BNSSG Training Hub provides workforce development support, education, and training to all members of health and social care. To do so, we liaise with education and service providers – in primary, community, social, and voluntary care – from across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.

Our Core Functions

As outlined by HEE, our core functions are as follows:

  • We support the development and expansion of capacity of high-quality learning placements at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • We support enhanced understanding of workforce planning needs and their realisation across the STP/ICS and at primary care network level, across health and social care
  • We support the development and realisation of educational programmes to develop the primary and community care workforce at scale, in order to address identified population health needs, engender service re-design, and facilitate the delivery of integrated care
