Healthier Together and its partners are running a virtual nursing event on Wednesday 12 August. Entitled Find Your Purpose: Become a Nurse, this will be streamed on Facebook Live at 10 am and convey information on currently-available nursing degree programmes.

A number of places on current programmes will commence this September, making this a great time to hear from nurses about their own job experiences, including facilitating the local COVID-19 response.

Planned speakers will include registered nurses, student nurses, placement officers, UWE staff, and a senior nurse. They will provide first-hand accounts of their nursing experiences, discussing why they became nurses, what they do, the best bits of the job, and their future plans. UWE will deliver a session in which you can learn about their nursing degree programmes, the student experience, and how to apply for them.
