Celebrating the history and achievements of black people

With exceptional resources from NHS Employers and the RCN

To help highlight and celebrate the achievements, culture, and history of black people, NHS Employers has put together a wonderful page featuring facts and figures about the NHS workforce, and about what the NHS is doing in recognition of Black History Month.

Of particular note is the RCN’s new podcast, Nursing whilst black, in which nurses, healthcare support workers, and students from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds share their reflections of and experiences of working in healthcare, along with insights into how we can all address the issue of racism.
