Chin is a GP in Cheltenham with a passion for primary care dermatology, and dermoscopy in particular. She has been teaching dermoscopy since 2012, for the Cardiff dermoscopy course, Primary Care Dermatology Society and independently for practices and CCGs across the UK.
- If someone has had no dermoscopy education they need to start with the first session and ideally attend all three
- If have had some education then they are free to join any session
Part 3 - Dermoscopy for not-so-beginners: Thursday 06.11.2025Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
This is the follow up session from Parts 1 and 2 and again clinicians are recommended to practice with the scope for several weeks in between the first two parts and the third part.
The objectives of Part 3 Refresher are to:
- feel more confident with diagnosing benign lesions
- be aware of the need to use the dermatoscope differently when evaluating rashes
and covers
- a recap of common benign lesions
- introducing a new algorithm – chaos and clues
- a few other uses of dermoscopy
- lots of interactive practice!
