As part of the Learning Disability Nursing Programme: Inclusive Health – Enhancing the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, the RCN Foundation are pleased to announce funding of up to £30,000 for organisations to undertake nurse-led research exploring mental health provisions for children and young people who have a learning disability and mental health challenges across the UK.

NHS England (NHSE) in collaboration with the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) have developed an eLearning course which aims to provide colleagues with an introduction to a public health and trauma-informed approach to preventing and reducing violence against staff working in health and care settings.

For people living in our most deprived communities, the average age of death from cirrhosis or other liver disease is just 55 years old – 16 years younger than in more affluent areas.
