NHS England Educator Workforce Strategy
The aim of the Educator Workforce Strategy is to set out actions that will lead to sufficient capacity and quality of educators to allow the growth in healthcare workforce that is needed to deliver care, now and in the future.
“Educator” is used inclusively to refer to all roles involved in healthcare education and training, across settings and professions.
Purpose of the Strategy:
Support a sustainable, high-quality educator workforce to meet future healthcare demands.

AHP Educator Career Framework
The AHP Educator Career Framework was published in 2023, highlighting the capabilities that all AHPs should develop in their educator pillar of practice. This interactive guide, hosted by the NHS Learning Hub, brings together a description of the framework, a set of useful tools and links to additional supporting materials.
